Christopher Koyste
I am an experienced Federal Court Trial and Appellate lawyer who practices law out of a small multi-unit commercial building that I purchased and lavishly redeveloped in the ultra cool, funky, beautiful one stop-light community of Bellefonte, Delaware; just to the north of Wilmington by about 2 miles. My practice focuses on federal criminal defense and land use/development/zoning law. These types of law are my passion and I choose to predominantly focus my practice on these areas.
Although I began my legal career in law in 1990, prior to that I was involved in the wine industry at both a winery level for 2 years and managing wine stores for 2 years. Other than wine, my other passions are art, antiques, architecture, and the design of furniture and buildings with true quality. My law office web page at www.koyste.com has some links that can tell you more about my interests. I now am producing my own original pieces of art, "functional" art, and furniture which are used or displayed in my law office as well as sold off from time to time together with some of the art and antiques in my office. My profile background on this site is one of the truly unique pieces of art that I have managed to preserve, which is a 7 foot 6 inch bronze statute of Justicia, made by the late 19th century French bronze master sculptor Clement Leopold Steiner. I am not planning on selling this amazing piece of art as my intention is to keep it here in Delaware.
