Kelsey Rambaran

I am a first year Journalism student at Ryerson Universitry. I came to Toronto from a small town in New Brunswick to learn what makes a journalist and how to become one.

My main interests in the journalistic field include newspaper print and magazines. I envision myself one day writing for a renowned magazine as a travel writer.

My most recent experiences include my local newspaper and a school partnership with the community's French radio station.

My choice to go into journalism stemmed from my desire to write and has been fueled by the many strangers in my community who continue to give me feedback on my pieces.

For the time being I plan to make the most of my four years at Ryerson and look forward to the opportunities the future has in store.
