Family is the most important part of my life. I take great pride in my family and am grateful for them. Hockey has been a mainstay in my life as well since I was four years of age. New York was where I learned the game, in North Woodmere of Long Island to be exact. One would describe me as a person of high character and a person who values integrity. Mistakes are a part of life, but those mistakes have brought me to the point where I am at today. My life has always been centered around hockey and family. Accomplishments have become constant throughout my time on this earth. From winning MVP awards at an early age, to helpng my team win a national championship. My mother is from Buffalo Grove IL and my father is from Long Island, NY in Cedarhurst. Her cooking always bring us together and help make our family bond tighter. Life has brought me hardships and issues, but my nature is to push forward and make the road work for me. family always has an important part in my life. I know that my hard work will pay off in the end.

Quote: "I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
