I work in the Swiss residential property space, focusing on one of the most critical — and most underestimated — phases of renting: the apartment handover at move-out.

Over the years I’ve been closely involved with the practical side of tenant exits, landlord expectations, and the condition standards required for successful handovers in Switzerland. I pay particular attention to the gap between what tenants believe is “clean” and what property managers actually expect at inspection.
