Stephanie Krause

Looking for friends (old and new) and always itching for some fun to be had in this life!

I lived in Vermont for 12 years, including my 4 years of college at UVM (GO CATS GO!), where I majored in Theatre performance and minored in Music (vocal).

Currently, I am living just outside of Philadelphia, PA with my boyfriend, Pat. I'm a Halloween birthday-girl, and an aspiring performer. Professionally however, I spent more time working in the wardrobe departments at various theaters than walking the boards. I toured for 6 months with Dragon Tales Live, worked as the Wardrobe Supervisor at the Prince Music Theater in Philly for two seasons, and even ended up with a few Broadway and Off-Broadway dressing gigs while I was living in NYC--including Disney's "Beauty & The Beast" & "Jewtopia," respectively.

After leaving my professional backstage work for life back in Delaware, I found happiness performing in local community theatre shows with the Wilmington Drama League (Including Summer 2008's Oliver! as "Nancy," May '07's Once On This Island as "Erzulie, the Goddess Of Love," and Dec. '07's Beauty & The Beast as "Babette").

When I moved to PA, I joined in some more local theatrical escapades--starting off with Fall 2010's Rocky Horror Show at Barnstormers Theater as "Columbia," and Winter 2011's Cabaret at Forge Theatre as Kit Kat Girl, "Rosie."

When not onstage performing in "legitimate theatre," I have more than my fair share of fun singing with the local Delaware County rock/pop cover band "The UPside!" Look for us at a DelCo venue near you!

I also play "Ashley" in the "geek-girls" web-sitcom, "Forever Wednesday." We have been on a bit of a hiatus to account for some of the girls graduating, and for some other personal issues, but find us on the web, and we should have some new episodes up SOON!

I am a proud former member of the Newark, Delaware Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast "Formal Dress Optional." I officially left cast in 2008 after 4 years of performing with them (mainly as "Magenta" although I played 7 different roles).

Guess that's it, really... You'll have to get to know me to see all the layers. ;)
