Karen Baker, 20-year veteran in Entertainment, specializing in Design and Business. She has consulted for companies such as BET, Viacom, Pernod-Ricard (Forbes ranked, One Of The Top 20 Most Innovative Companies In The World) and Isom Global Strategies.

Baker is a multi-disciplinary design consultant. She performs user research, strategy and design; along with designing her own independent products and services. Karen has been awarded Community Art Grant 2013 and Artistic Fellowship 2014. Karen teaches as a professor at American Public Univesity Systems and NewSchool of Architecture & Design, Domus Academy (Milan, Italy); she has been an adjunct faculty at Teh George Washington University for 11 years.

Her current projects include: Creative Producer of Behind The Mind Radio Show, President of Social Art and Culture, Producer for National Park Service Fort Dupont Summer Concert Series and Project Lead for Changing the Face of Medicine Initiative.

Memberships: Design Thinking DC, & Washington Project for the Arts.
