...as a small boy, I already ran around with the camerabag of my father, even though I did not know anything about Photgraphy. As soon as I overcame this gap in knowledge it became my artistic course to investigate.
The necessity of regulated work for some time interrupted my investigation. I worked almost 30 years in the computer technology. The longer I was active in this profession, the bigger my wish to break out. Therefore I began to paint whenever time allowed. I painted my first watercolour.
In my occupation as well as with the painting i fought cm by cm to achieve. In order to be able to obtain quick results, that could withstand my critical eye I attended my first seminar with Prof. Freundlinger. I invested increasingly more leisure time into my art.
Above all during the almost four-year-old activity for MAGMA kreativforum, the at that time artist union in the Siemens CORP. Austria, I layed the cornerstone through the organisation from seminars in Piešťany for further engagement in Slowakia.
Naturally I did not remain with Aquarell. I explored other technologies like among others pastell, akryl and oilpainting.
My artistic "coming of age" was undoubtedly my Oilpainting "The Allegory of the two ways", from Mattheus 5-7 (1.5mx2m) [see also my documentation The Matthäus Project (in german only)], which could be presented after more than 100 studiohours and many pencil and colour sketches in a small studio celebration.
A further technology, the Monotypie (a procedure between pressure technology and painting), so fascinated me that I selected this technology for the 2nd time for a display. The series "red-green-blue" 2001 wiht motives of Goettlesbrunn and 2004 the "Slowak Impressions", motives from the region of Liptov.
It is important to me that while I occupied myself with what was already there, I am not afraid to enter new Territories. I try new techniques (like the computer technology), new materials and colours to observe whether they are useful to achieve my goals.
