I grew up on the Isle of Wight working in a private school before moving to London where I worked with a communications company called BIMCOM, where Globe Wireless was one of our customers. I then joined Globe Wireless in 1998 moving to The Netherlands to set up our North European office. A year later I moved to California to head up our Customer Support department. Another year later we moved Customer Support to Florida for a full 24x7 support function. I joined the Product Management group several years ago. Globe Wireless provides communications and various services to commercial vessel such as oil/gas tankers, container ships and workboats.
Enjoy playing on the Xbox360 and have my personal gadgets, iPad 1, iPhone 4, Kinect for the Xbox360 and the Apple TV.
Professionally
My roll within the company is launch to market new products and services as well as work on internal backend systems. I have launched several large projects over the last few years, including GlobeVOIP and GlobeMobile. Both of these solutions were to provide low cost high reliability communications to the companies and crew onboard.
Currently I have been involved and coordinating the launch of SAP to integrate all of our departmnets into a single ordering/tracking/financial solution. This allows Globe Wireless to keep up with our continued growth year after year.
