KRIÓLAS is an initial business idea from two enthusiastic and dynamic individuals willing to make an enormous difference in UK eating habits. The aim of KRIÓLAS is to introduce healthier and savoury meal options and break down the traditional fast food habits of fatty food.
After living in the UK for many years, experiencing cultures and meeting so many people from different backgrounds KRIÓLAS are sure they have an important role to play in this country cuisine and will make a difference to eating habits by introducing traditional, imaginative and tasty flavours from Portugal & Cabo Verde!
The name KRIÓLAS follows traditional capeverdian women. In Cabo Verde a “krióla” represents tradition, courage, and intelligence. A “Krióla” fights to accomplish day-to-day challenges and supply for her family. We are proud to have inherited this strength and courage from our parents and will use it to present Portuguese flavours and capeverdian cuisine to the world!
