I'm Kris. I've been alive since 1986, a spouse since 2006 and a parent since 2008. I am currently a full time student at Brigham Young University, majoring in English. I'd prefer to be a professional student because school is AWESOME, but my wallet won't allow that.

I struggle with fibromyalgia, social anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder, but I'm getting through. I am transgender - assigned female at birth, but I'm actually male. However, I have chosen not to transition. I'm happy to talk about my experiences or offer support to anyone who needs it.

I love to read, write, and knit. I play the piano. I speak some Spanish and some German, but not as well as I'd like. I've lived in Utah, Florida, England and Arkansas. England was my favorite.

My son (age 8) is autistic and a serious challenge, but somehow we are surviving day by day. He's a genius and I'm pretty sure he stole all my brain cells.

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon.) I'm full of insecurity, indecision and craziness. But somehow I've made it this far and I'll keep going as long as I can!
