Kris Mayen

Kristel Mayen (a.k.a. Kris Mayen) is an accomplished industrial engineer, small international business owner, and devoted solo mom of twins. A graduate of the prestigious Guatemalan-American institution, Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, where she obtainer her bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, she has pursued further specialization in Project Management in India and sustainable development in Thailand.

Kris is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt, bringing a results-oriented mindset and strategic insight to every endeavor. Fully fluent in both English and Spanish, she communicates seamlessly across borders.

In 2018, Kris made history as the first woman to attain the highest rank in the Guatemalan Armed Forces reserves, a groundbreaking achievement in a traditionally male-dominated sphere. Her adventurous spirit extends beyond the professional realm—she is a PADI-certified scuba diver, professional horse jumper, and trained skydiver, constantly pushing her limits.

Currently, she is pursuing a double Master's Degree in Project Management and AI for Business at Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona, affiliated with Universidad Isabel I in Burgos, Spain.

She's also the founder of MayPhi, an international boutique firm that specializes in AI & Process Consulting. Kris integrates her engineering expertise with entrepreneurial determination, all while raising her twins. She is a true embodiment of resilience, leadership, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in all areas of life.
