Karl-Chris Nsabiyumva

Bujumbura, Burundi

I go by the name of KRis. Well, my birth certificate actually says that my names are Karl-Chris Robert Nsabiyumva - son of a Burundian man and a Burundian woman, born on the 25th of June, of the year 1987, in the city of Bujumbura; that would be in Burundi. I grew up being called Chris and then at some point in my life I realised that I could replace a few letters in 'Chris' with the 'K' and 'R' from 'Karl' and 'Robert' and come up with 'KRis' which still sounds like 'Chris'... You get it? Anyway...

So I’m an educated (I went to school, University and all that) Burundian male navigating through the life and enjoying the ride. I believe in a God, in salvation through Jesus-Christ, and I don’t quite believe in luck. I spend my life sleeping, eating, daydreaming, reading, blogging, tweeting and laughing... I exercise sometimes as well. Also, when I'm awake, I'll most likely be connected to the Internet some way or the other, although I do not consider myself an addict.

I don’t have any particular taste in music, but I have a strong bias for beats I can dance to. I’m not a regular alcohol consummer, I don’t smoke but I love me some ice cream. I read, but I don’t quite do traditional 'books'... I love writing, but I’d rather have a conversation. I can drive and I've never been arrested. I hate flying, but I love airports... And I believe trains are the best means of transport ever invented by men.

I really hope I’ll live forever. So far, it looks like it’s working!
