Kris G. Wolf

Madison, WI

I am a current master’s candidate in the School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, with expected degree completion in of August 2014. I have focused my studies at SLIS on consumer health information, information policy and ethics, and access to broadband and information technology.

Post-graduate studies, I am interested in how information technology (IT) affects health and wellness of communities; for example, how IT access and health literacy influence the determinants of health. To pursue this interest, I would like to utilize community-based participatory research (CBPR) models advocating for the value of health IT, promoting greater digital citizenship.
