Instructor, virtual reality, and 360-degree storytelling in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
I’m the Chair of the School of Media and Design and a digital journalism instructor for the Digital Communications and Media program at Lethbridge College focused on 360-degree storytelling and Virtual Reality.
I am currently focused on applied research opportunities creating a best practices guide for 360-degree journalists across Canada.

At Lethbridge College I’ve secured NSERC funding for an international Virtual Reality Conference, received Applied Research funds for 360-degree journalism as well as funding for non-credit Virtual Reality training. I have led a panel at the National Renewable Energy Forum in Toronto, I've represented southern Alberta in Chicago, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal about economic development opportunities in renewable energy.
In my spare time I play the cello for various groups and compete in sprint triathlons across southern Alberta.
I am a graduate of the Masters program in Communications and Technology at the University of Alberta.
I am married to Amy, I have a daughter named Hazel and I have a Labradoodle named Frankie.
