I have been serving the fitness community in for the past 8 years. My long time involvement in fitness, sports, and recreation has evolved into a deep-rooted commitment to helping others be successful in creating a healthful lifestyle.
I received a BS in Exercise Science from The University of Alabama (RTR) where I studied under Dr. John Jackson, a body composition expert. Currently I am studying for a Masters degree in Corporate Health Management.
I am recognized as a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Level 1 Crossfit Coach. I have also completed training courses in Pilates, Nutrition, and Post Rehab Exercise. My specialities include Food Coaching, Weight Loss Training, Hormone Balance, Disease Management & Correction, Corrective Exercise Strategies, and Lifestyle Improvement Coaching.
I firmly believe that understanding what you are doing and why you are doing it is an important step in meeting your health and fitness goals. As a Fitness Coach, it is my job to educate people in the areas (of diet and fitness) that they may not fully understand so that they can be successful. Lifestyle change is not always easy, but it can be done, and you can be successful.
