Kristabel Quek
Singapore
She thrives being the round peg in the square hole and seeing things differently. Kristabel is a full-time dreamer, she dreamt of becoming an astronaut, inventor or business woman when she was growing up. She has recently decided to bridge the gap between inventors and consumers as an entrepreneurial technology transfer professional.
In 2010, Kristabel formed the idea of Hemeryx – the bar that connects and became one of the finalists of Martell’s Ultimate Start-Up Space Competition.
Kristabel enjoys sharing experiences through casual conversations and watches TED videos during her free time. Always on a learning quest, Kristabel creates her own learning experience with road trips and travels. She plans to embark on her next adventure in California this May, where she will attend the Google IO Conference and visit Silicon Valley companies such as IDEO and hopefully PIXAR. Kristabel is currently the Idea Generator of SMU Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
