Krista Grund

I come from a family of five, me being the youngest and only daughter. Growing up with two brothers had a great influence on me becoming a soccer player. I played for about 13 years on many clubs and in high school. Thankfully, I got my dad’s stubbornness and leadership necessity so I was perfect for my position, center defender. When I wasn’t at games or practice, I was working on school work or obsessing over animals. My best friend of about nine years is my cat, Daisy. Now you’d think since I’m such an animal freak, I’d want to be a veterinarian. I did too until I took Child Guidance my Junior year at Clark High School. Now I want to work with children, either being a pediatrics doctor or a therapist.

I find peace in nature. Nothing takes my mind off of responsibilities like a nice hike through the woods or a walk at the trails. Trees, fresh air, and birds chirping beat a stressed mind any day.
