My biggest influence was and still is Walt Disney, an innovator of creative thinking. I have enormous respect for this man who had the ability to make anything a reality, building his dreams without having to sacrifice his original style.

In 1995, I graduated from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA, with a degree in Major Broadcast Communications. I did multiple internships in TV, film, and radio - most notably a three-year internship with Chancellor Radio in San Francisco (KABL, KBGG/KISQ, KNEW, and KSAN). I then moved across the street to Bonneville International Corporation and took a job as Promotion Coordinator for Z95.7 (KZQZ), where I also started learning graphic design.

In 2003, I packed up my bags and moved to San Luis Obispo, CA. I went to work for American General Media, where I was Director of Marketing and Promotions for six radio stations (KWWW, KZOZ, KWSR, KKJG, KIQO, and KKAL). Working in a smaller market, I had to learn to be creative without a budget, and I truly feel that this restriction strengthened my creative thinking skills. Unfortunately, a family tragedy struck about a year later, and I decided to move back closer to home. I took a position with SMG in Oakland as Marketing Manager for the Oakland Arena and Network Associates Coliseum. I loved every aspect of it, from putting on the shows and working with promoters to becoming a boxing event producer. This was a newly created position, so I had the privileged task of building an in-house marketing department from the ground up.

In 2006, I decided to leave the Bay Area and move to Sacramento, CA. I was hired as the Director of Marketing at First Broadcasting, which owned KXCL and KREL. I then segued out of radio and into the mortgage business. I was hired at Partners Mortgage in Roseville, creating marketing pieces and programs for their loan officers. About a year later I became the Marketing Communications Manager for New Generation Software in Sacramento. After 13 years as a graphic designer, I officially launched my own company in April 2007.

I also donate my services and time and sit on the boards for the PROMISE Network and Pirate's Island Partners.

In 2013 I will be launching my own T-Shirt Line called Kreativitees.
