Kristen Wieland

Hi! Thanks for joining me in the insane story that is my life! My name is Kristen Wieland. I am crazy-in-love with God, and I desire to connect with his heart and bring that love to a world in need. I spent 6 months in New Zealand and Fiji with the organisation Youth With A Mission (YWAM) doing a Discipleship Training School (DTS), which changed my life! My current adventure is learning to wait. Might not sound like much but it certainly is an interesting time! When this season is over, God will send me into the next one and I'll be ready for the call!

Aside from foreign missions, I am passionate about music, writing and horses and would love to make a career out of any or all of those eventually, if it is part of God's plan for me.

I wholly believe in going where God calls me and not letting myself get in the way with plans that might not line up with His!

My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11-13 "'For I know the plans I have for you' declares the Lord. 'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart.'" It is my favourite because of the message of hope that it gives out of a call to surrender to God's will.
