Kristen Hwang

I am a journalism student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. In May 2015, I will be graduating with my master's degree in mass communication and a bachelor's degree in environmental science.

I am passionate about finding and telling stories that will impact people's lives. In May 2014, I was chosen to be the Reynolds Fellow for the Carnegie-Knight News21 investigative journalism program. The project spurred my interest in investigative journalism, and also allowed me to explore and develop ways to tell stories through photography and documentary film-making.

I love nothing more than curling up with a good book.
