Kristen Kincannon

Kristen Kincannon is currently a student in the College of Human Sciences at Texas Tech University. She currently working on an undergraduate degree in Human Development & Family Studies with a minor in Human Resources with a 3.2 GPA. Her expected graduation date is May of 2015. Her passion currently lies in human resources, volunteer work, and world traveling. Kristen has been to many places in the United States as well as the United Kingdom and Ireland. Current plans to continue her traveling experiences include a Human Resources internship in New Zealand during the summer of 2014. Over the past five and a half years, Kristen has worked at United Supermarkets and Market Street in Lubbock, Texas; two branches of The United Family which is now a subsidiary of Albertsons LLC. Here she has learned responsibility, time management, problem solving, communication, teamwork, customer service, organization, self-motivation, and how to meet deadlines. While continuing her education at Texas Tech, Kristen hopes to find an internship that will allow her to practice these skills while gaining new ones and better her understanding of Human Resources.
