I am a Senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a B.A. in the School of Media and Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am very interested in the rise of Web 3.0 technologies and, with the decreasing costs of processing power + bandwidth, how companies are using this advanced tech to find efficiencies to save money and reduce demand for resources through the connection of devices.

After studying in a design studio abroad, completing various marketing internships, and working at a top ad-tech startup, I realized that my passions lie in the forward-thinking tech sectors that characterize Web 3.0, specifically IoT, immersive tech (VR/MR/AR), and AI. I realized that I am creatively inspired, yet data-driven, and that my investigative personality makes “connecting the dots” in any given situation come naturally to me. My ability to cohesively synthesize/analyze data and extract valuable insights, paired with my creative background and passion around forward-thinking tech, confirms my career path in the Web 3.0 tech world.

I hope to apply my marketing background to increase the education around the utility of connectedness of devices and how they can be used to improve consumers’ individual lifestyles while simultaneously saving money and energy on a broader scale. As I pursue this path, I am excited to be at the fore-front of our hyper-connected world, starting with Web 3.0, and to see how its power will improve our digital age for the better.
