I imagine that as a child the first words I spoke were: ‘Why' and ‘How.’ Once my parents were thoroughly annoyed by my inquisitive nature, they stopped responding and sent me to a room with a mountain of books to satiate my hunger for knowledge.

Many years later, ‘why’ and ‘how’ remain to be my go-to responses during everyday life experiences. Being innately inquisitive has its advantages, though – like actually enjoying reading news 10+ times a day. It has also served me very well in my career as a marketing professional.

With a diverse background in non-profit, education, hospitality, and automotive industries, I realize the importance of implementing holistic marketing strategies and tactics. Every marketing function must work in harmony with all of its counterparts to be effective. My passion lies in examining ‘why’ and ‘how’ marketing works and doesn’t work for brands and organizations, then implementing strategies and tactics that nurture a single, cohesive message. As I like to say: ‘one brand, one love.

On the side, I'm a part-time dreamer. Though 70% of the time my left-brain is operative, my right-brain sneaks in to influence thought processes the remaining 30%. If I were born in the late 40s-early 50's, I would've attended 'Woodstock' with my rose-colored glasses and flower child mentality spreading love, peace and unity. I'm extremely enthusiastic when it comes to making others smile and laugh -- because of course, laughter cures everything.

When I'm not dreaming or working, you can find me exploring our beautiful Earth, experimenting in the kitchen, riding my Fixie whereever it will take me, or taking on a DIY project.

I strongly support community involvement and non-profit organizations with an emphasis in sustainable food, environmentalism, and education.
