Liv Kristiansen

Translator and Interpreter in Vienna, Austria

Born during a flight over Europe on one of the world’s known airlines, I spent my adolescent years in Norway, Morocco, Russia, Sweden and Hong Kong. In 2008 moved to Austria, where I thought the Norwegian language to foreigners at the Vienna University and Community College, Wiener Urania.

With a Master’s Degree in Linguistics & Nordic Literature, running my own translation office, I’ve become interested in different ways of promoting my product and my brand while self-employed. Motivated to look behind the scenes, I began to study Management at the Norwegian Business School to set myself a new path within e-commerce & marketing.

At the end of 2011, I gained the opportunity to connect my dearest aviation and travel interest together becoming a sworn translator within technics, genetics, medicine and aviation for the languages: Norwegian and English.

I’m fluent in: Norwegian, English, Arabic (Moroccan Darija), German, Polish, Dutch, Swedish and Russian. I’m still improving my Mandarin, Danish & Slovak ;-)

A list of dictionaries I’ve written from 2007 - 2009 can be found here: https://goo.gl/HoRFME

As of 2015, my passion has only turned to a hobby - nevertheless - in case you need a translator, feel free to contact me :-)
