Social Media Manager, Filmmaker, and brand manager in Orlando, FL
Kristian Snow is currently enrolled at Full Sail University with plans to graduate in July 2020 with an Entertainment Business Bachelor’s degree. He grew up in Haiti, raised by American missionary parents and a unique familiarity with two vastly different cultures. At Full Sail, he studies the business behind the entertainment industry in order to lead, manage, and monetize his dream for Haiti. Always seeking to carve a path, Kristian traverses his course materials with practical application by: serving as a director of project management for Hidden Talents, producing multiple short films, and pioneering a brand development business for Haitian-Americans.
At 13 years old he started providing content for local Haitian TV, and since then his +8 years of filmmaking experience have produced media that exposed, enlightened, and entertained audiences on +30 local stations & national TV. By December 2016, he received cultural honors signed by the mayor of Saint Marc. Through his trials of flash floods, political upheavals, and the earthquake of 2010, Kristian grew to understand that he sees what foreigners don’t and can operate where Haitians are limited. The dissonance between relief efforts and the unchanging chaos continuously drives this independent thinker forward. He believes lasting change starts with unearthing the virtues of Haitian society by empowering their storytellers to influence pop culture. His dream over the next 5 years is to pioneer a Haitian film studio akin to Disney, but using virtues instead of magic to bring happiness, healing, and identity.
