Kristiina has been a creative entrepreneur since 2008, having been one of the founders and manager of a graphic design agency CTRL Control Disain and later since 2011 of a company for audiovisual solutions Visar Studio.

Therefore Kristiina has an experience in strategic management, marketing and product as well as service development. She has been leading international teams and managed design and innovation processes.

In 2014 Kristiina made a shift from being a creative entrepreneur herself towards starting to contribute to the field of creative industries in more depth. She is executing her experience and knowledge to research the phenomena as well as consulting creative and cultural organisations and companies as part of the Creativity Lab team.

Kristiina has a diploma from Tartu Art College in Estonia and has enhanced her studies at Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, Germany. Currently, she is doing her Cultural Management Master studies at the joint program between Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and Estonian Business School, where her research is focused on Creative Industries and developing creative entrepreneurship.
