Kristi K. Hagen
Eau Claire, Wisconsin, United States
Kristi Hagen has taught in many countries including USA, Germany, England and China. In Summer 2012, she taught courses for ONPS Summer School at Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, Szechuan Province, China. That summer she created and instructed three six-week long summer courses in Pychology, Sociology, Philosophy & Ethics. She took her 87 year-old mother who was a mini-celebrity, loved the trip and was a real travel-trooper! After she finished teaching, Kristi took her mother on a three-week tour of China including a Yangtze River cruise, Three-Gorges Damn, Jiuzhaigou Nat'l Park, Ya'an, Xi'an & Terra Cotta Soldiers, Great Wall, Chongqing, Guanzhou, Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou and many other places.
This summer 2015, she has again been invited back by ONPS Summer School to teach in Taipei, Taiwan at the Fu Jen Catholic University. She will be teaching Sociology of Religions (with a focus on Asian religions: Buddhism, Hinduism and Confucianism), Money & Banking and Financial Management from a Sociology of Economy perspective. She is excited to share about her travels and has plans to not only travel all of Taiwan but also visit Hong Kong for a long week-end excursion.
