I live a dual life. Executive by day, newly transplanted Farm Girl by night. Like Marie Antoinette and Le Hameau de la Reine. I've delivered a baby llama in my suit, and I've picked straw out of my hair at a board meeting. My husband is a stay-at-home-dad who turned in his minivan for a tractor.
I don't can or bake bread or make soap. We didn't homeschool our four kids. In fact, we barely helped them with their homework. I'm no Martha Stewart. Except to my chickens. And my goats. And my llamas and miniature horse and our gorgeous black lab. And my husband and kids, I suppose. I've learned to appreciate cats.
And we have amazing parties in our barn.
Life has become particularly entertaining since we moved to this farm a year ago. And since I love to write, I thought I'd collect some stories that may make people laugh.
No recipes. No crafts. No decorating tips.
Just chuckles.
