Kristin Redding
I have the pleasure of being the Event Coordinator at the University Career Center. This position allows me to manage our Career Fairs and other events that target specific populations of students. The other large part of my job consists of co-supervising a group of marketing interns that we are lucky to have at the UCC. This group of students work to disseminate information to KU students through social media, marketing collateral, and peer-to-peer connections. My job allows me to collaborate with a variety of people to make opportunities for students accessible and exciting.
Outside of the office I enjoy reading, cuddling with my niece, playing with my dog, and spending time with my friends and family. I am passionate about celebrating diversity in all individuals, and bringing awareness to the social change that is needed to create equality for everyone. In my spare time, I volunteer as an advocate for sexual assault survivors who are looking for resources, guidance through the legal and medical system, or simply someone to talk to.
