I just a small town girl...born and raised on a farm in Colorado. Although I hated growing up on a farm at the time, I look back on those days and miss it now. I am proud now of a lot of the things that I learned from my parents...things that I can carry on through my life. I brag about the fact that at the age of 16 I helped my dad re-build a motor in my '68 Chevy pickup...and how I still to this day change my own oil (and other maintenance) on my car....and enjoy it. (Not many girls can say that....) I know what hard work is and I have total respect for anybody who isn't afraid of it. I also have a total respect for life in general...especially since I have had some very close calls with death recently. I have had 3 very serious "near death experiences" with asthma attacks in the last 2 years. Surviving through those has been a very scary experience, but has made me realize that I am more of a fighter than I thought...and so much stronger than anybody realized. It made me realize how much I love my family...they are everything to me...and how I have taken a lot of things for granted. I look at life totally different now.....
