I am a writer currently living in New Milford, Connecticut with so many experiences to share. On June 24th 1994, I came into this world weighing barely 1 pound 6 ounces. I had a 10 percent chance of survival, I was told by many if I survived that I would never walk, talk, breathe, let alone write on my own. However I defied the odds and after 23 blessed years, I now aspire to share my stories, my experiences, and most importantly my journey to success through my personal poetry. Further, some of my inspirations for my writing range from my mother who has unfortunately been severely ill for most of my life, the beauty and tranquility of nature, and the comfort of animals, who have been there for the good, the bad, and the ugly. My ultimate hope is for my poetry to inspire others, relay a message, and awaken the poet within.
