Kristina Ambriz

Originally from Sacramento, her self-taught skills along with college level education have carried her across various cities in California including Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, and now Long Beach. She has participated in multiple art walks, shows, and contests, which has elevated her experience in portraiture, landscape, and commissioned pieces, one of which was a private piece for Matt Altman from the hit show Million Dollar Listing.

Her upcoming show Philogyny, featuring oil and acrylic works, are Inspired by her everyday encounters with charismatic women. Philogyny takes the hue and essence of feminine allure and translates it into paint and canvas. The opening reception will take place February 5th, 2016, at Viento Y Agua 4007 E 4th St. Long Beach, CA 90814 from 7pm-9pm. For all who attend the opening night, there will be a free raffle for a chance to take home “Roselyn,” an original oil painting.
