Kristina Agbebiyi

I'm Kristina, you can also call me K. I was born in Michigan, grew up in the suburbs of Georgia, and now I'm currently residing in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

I've worked and written for various nonprofit orgs such as GetEQUAL, URGE, CampusPride, Planned Parenthood, Lutheran Services of Georgia, and Young People For. I'm passionate about organizing, community building, politics, and learning about policy. My organizing work centers around reproductive justice, LGBTQ rights, racial justice, and student organizing.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Human Services: Nonprofit Administration from Kennesaw State University. I'm currently dealing with academia at the University of Michigan School of Social Work with a concentration in Social Policy and Evaluation in Community Systems. I'm completing a field placement at Avalon Housing, Community Building with clients who have experienced chronic homelessness.

For fun, I enjoy reading, writing, and listening to podcasts. I like trying new food, and acquiring too many floral tattoos, and purple lipstick. I tweet about my life, but of course, opinions are my own.
