Hello,
My name is Kristina Avena and I am studying public relations at Quinnipiac University as well as international business.Some of my hobbies include meeting new people, volunteering and participating in community outreach projects.
I am a motivated individual with superb interpersonal communication skills. My excellent written and oral communication skills allow me to connect with customers/clients on a personal level and build relationships. I am knowledgeable in all social media applications, developing and implementing creative campaigns, branding, market analysis and event planning. Some of my more technical talents include Microsoft Office, Wordpress, Hootsuite, Adobe software and Vertical Response (an email marketing software).
In the past I have worked for a few different retail stores. Starting Fall 2016, I was an intern at the Gesell Institute of Child Development in New Haven, CT doing their public relations work. Most recently I have become a brand ambassador for Abate's Pizza in Orange, CT. I am the webmaster of all their social media accounts and building Abate an entire new website from scratch to increase their web presence. Lastly, I am interning at SCS Direct Inc. in Trumbull also doing their public relations work.
