I was born and raised in the Boise Idaho area. I spent my days riding bikes, playing roller hockey, and exploring the ditch that ran behind our neighborhood with my friends.

In high school you would most likely see me walking around with a video camera attached to my right hand. So after high school, I attended Montana State University where I received my BA in film and television production. I was able to learn a lot about filmmaking, and hold various positions that ranged from PA to set dresser to electric. I also produced three short films and six episodes of a webseries, worked as the first assistant director on two short films, and edited two.

After graduating, I moved to Los Angeles and worked on a variety of things. For instance, I was a PA on the film ‘Celeste & Jesse Forever’ and worked freelance as a photographer/videographer for motorsports. While in LA I fell into the world of public relations and loved it. So I decide to further my education and get my master’s degree.

I recently completed an internship though the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences where I was placed in the PR/publicity department at NBCUniversal's Universal Cable Productions. This internship was the last requirement for my master’s degree in public relations at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. While attending Newhouse I focused a lot of my research on social media and the entertainment industry. I completed a case study on social media and web series as well as wrote a best practices management paper on how social media is and should be used by networks.

I wish to put both my master’s and bachelor’s degrees to use and am currently pursuing a career in entertainment PR, mainly production PR with a focus in social media.

Fun Fact: Some of my favorite TV shows are Castle, Firefly, Battlestar Galatica, The Walking Dead, Homeland, and Game of Thrones.
