Kristina Ivkovic is a Croatian fashion designer born on February 16, 1991, in Serbia. She discovered her love towards fashion in her very early childhood. During high school she was taking classes of sewing and painting. Her fashion education has started in 2010 when she enrolled in BA in Fashion and textile design at Faculty of textile technology in Zagreb, Croatia, where she was awarded with prestigious Dean’s award. After that, she took a summer course in Fashion design at NABA (New academy of fine arts) in Milan, Italy. Kristina has continued her education with MA in Fashion design at Brera academy of fine arts in Milan, Italy.

Kristina has always been very active in participating in many contests, shows and exhibitions. Her most recent participations were this year at “Expo” in Milan and the exhibition “Omaggio a Emanuel Ungaro” at Brera Academy which was visited by Mr. Ungaro himself.

Apart from having a primary interest in projects like this, she gained also a very different experience by co-founding a company in 2011 called Skochypstiks, where besides from designing and creating patterns, her role is the overall organisation of production process. Skochypstiks is a clothing brand for people in motion, more precisely for the people who practice l'art du déplacement(parkour).

“But after all, what is fashion for me? I learn with every single observation of texture, colour, form… I grow from day to day. It is my energy, my passion - simply, my way of living. It is my everything.” - Kristina Ivkovic
