Kristina Monakhova
Hello! My name is Kristina Monakhova and I am a student at the University at Buffalo (UB) studying electrical engineering. I am interested in robotics and space systems and plan to work in the space and defense or robotics industries after college. Check out my projects webpage: monakhova.weebly.com
Currently, I am the attitude determination and control (ADC) subsystem lead on UB's nanosatellite team. In addition, I am the vice president and council of chapters representative of UB's Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) Club.
Last summer, I graduated from NASA's Robotics Academy at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL, aka the Rocket City. During my summer, I got to see several different NASA centers, network with NASA leaders, and perform hand-on research in robotic satellite servicing.
