Hello! My name is Kristina James. I am an 29-year-old mother of 1 from Norwalk, CT.

I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism from Southern Connecticut State University. I am currently working on obtaining my Master's degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University.

Since having my daughter, I have been through a great deal. I was diagnosed with a condition called Peripartum Cardiomyopathy, which is heart failure after birth, about 10 months after my baby was born. I have decided to dedicate my blog UpsideDown to spreading the word about this potentially fatal condition.

It is my goal to be a support to those who are being or have been affected by PPCM.
