In 2009 I became a single mom after being a stay at home momma of three children for 20 years. I hadn't been in the workforce for many years. I did however, teach my classes at a well known gym in southern California.

I was left with a mortgage, utility bills and all the responsibility of taking care of my son with no support.

I was humiliated and humbled beyond my imagination. I've had all my utilities cut off at one time or the other, there were days when I counted change to put gas in my car and the final blow was losing my home that I raised my children in. Then lastly getting evicted from my home that I owned. We had to move an entire house in five days. I was shocked and devastated. And I took my son and dog and checked into a hotel where we stayed for nearly two weeks.

I have been down to the lowest of lows and I vowed to make it on my own. As painful as my past has been I have managed to rise above it and have a compassion for single moms that I would not have had otherwise....

I am still on the journey and have a long way to go... Come with me as I attempt to conquer life on my own...And I do it all in princess style.....
