Kristine D'Arbelles
managing director in Ottawa
I am a dynamic leader in public affairs, dedicated to advancing road safety and mobility for all. As managing director of Public Affairs with the Canadian Automobile Association, I strategically develop and execute high-impact communications initiatives across CAA's five key pillars: road safety, environment, mobility, infrastructure, and consumer protection.
Building strong relationships is at the heart of my work—whether engaging with CAA Members, government stakeholders, or the traveling public. Through strategic public relations and communications, I drive meaningful dialogue, influence policy, and champion initiatives that enhance safety, sustainability, and consumer rights on Canada’s roads.
I am also the FIA Region III Coordinator. I support the regional president and act as secretariat for the region, which includes Canada, the US, Mexico, and the Caribbean. I help manage regional initiatives and budgets, promote FIA programs and grants, and coordinate meetings and exchanges. I also represent the region in FIA working groups, oversee participation in FIA University programs, manage communications and the website, and maintain close collaboration with the FIA head office and other regional coordinators.
