Kristi Newton

Kristi Newton is BNY Mellon's Global Recruiting Manager for Campus Recruiting & Emerging Talent Programs. Throughout her three years at BNY Mellon, Kristi has redesigned the recruitment strategy and candidate experience around all global talent programs offered at the firm. She also leads a team of experienced recruiters aiming to attract, convert, and retain early career high potential talent, ultimately building the company's diverse pipeline of future leaders.

Outside of her work in Global Talent & Development, Kristi sits on the Global HEART Leadership Team where she focuses on leading the growth of Mental Health awareness and educational programs within the US.

Kristi holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UNCA and is currently working towards her Masters in Human Resource Development with a concentration in Organizational Psychology from Villanova University. Kristi also dedicated a portion of her undergraduate studies at Bond University in Australia's Gold Coast where she studied neuropsychology, as well as spent her early post-graduate career teaching English in Madrid (Madrid, Spain).
