Kristin Kinkel

As a child, Kristin Kinkel was a talented gymnast. The skills she developed in this capacity led to her interest in cheerleading. She excelled as a cheerleader and secured a full athletic scholarship to Hawaii Pacific University, where she studied how to teach English to speakers of other languages. During and after college, Kristin Kinkel was involved with Varsity Spirit Corporation, through which she organized various cheerleading clinics and camps as a head instructor. Kristin Kinkel also judged national and international competitions while earning accolades as a skilled stunt cheerleader.
Putting her degree to use, Kristin Kinkel focused on teaching English to Japanese visitors in Honolulu and later returned to her home state of Oregon to become a bilingual educational assistant with Hillsboro School District. She worked in a classroom that taught both English and Spanish literacy.
Kristin Kinkel enjoys traveling. During her time with Varsity Spirit Corporation, she went to nearly all 50 states, as well as South American and Asia. At age 22, she took six months to backpack through Europe and visited most of the countries in Western Europe.
