Kristin Loughlin

Hello! I'm Kristin Loughlin. I am an English & Language Arts teacher at Carolina Springs Middle School in Lexington, SC. I am a lifelong lover of getting lost in a book, and I have been writing fiction and poetry since I figured out how to spell as a child.

I was born in New Jersey, grew up in Myrtle Beach, then moved to Columbia when I was sixteen. I attended Columbia College of SC (Go Koalas!) where I received my Bachelor's of Arts in English with a focus in media writing/journalism.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy exploring Columbia with my husband, Ian. We like to spend our weekends on adventures (Preferably with our dogs), cooking, running, or just relaxing around the house.
