Kristin Thompson is a popular speaker and coach, founder of Thompson Professional Development, and creator of sought-after programs for entrepreneurs and consultants including Memory Made Easy for Business and Presentation Gravity. In her early 30's Kristin's career in media sales flourished as she was recruited by the top-rated NBC Station, enjoyed the encouragement of a wonderful mentor, and was a consistent sales team leader and trainer. Kristin's health began to falter. She was ultimately diagnosed with Graves Disease and so began a year long struggle with the illness. Her ability to stay competitive in the high-stakes world of media was increasingly threatened, her manager and mentor left the station and moved out of state, and for the final blow, her father died suddenly of an anuerysm at the age of 59. Kristin was lost, adrift, and down for the count. As the year turned, Kristin brushed herself off and began to launch an awe-inspiring sales “comeback”. In 60 days Kristin created a comprehensive on-air/online sales campaign, closed five major sponsors, resulting in a whopping 300% increase in new business to the station & several major sales awards.
