I'm a library media specialist in Lewisville ISD who's passionate about creating future-ready students. Whether it's creating projects out of duct tape, teaching our kids about the power of coding, or simply getting to see the awesome things they can make, all of it makes every day in the library feel less and less like a job and more like a fun-adventure. It's been a long journey here, folks, as I've worked as manager at a Big Box Bookstore and as public children's librarian. I fervently believe in DIY, public service, and the power of good design.

I'm a self-taught designer, mainly out of necessity, and I believe that making has made me a better human.

My favorite tools include: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

My hobbies include but aren't any way limited to: sewing, knitting (as long as it doesn't involve counting), quilting, RPG video games, improving our 1960's ranch house, and of course reading.

I also run a Graphic Design and Nerdy Wearables business, KeenBeeStudio. We design logos for libraries and small businesses, and our librarian tshirts are the softest shirts you'll be proud to wear on Friday Spirit Days.
