Kristy Gonyer

I am an educator with a background in the sciences and post-secondary education, and with broad experience teaching and coordinating science, environmental, garden, experiential, and community-based programs. I am inspired by the power of education to affect positive change in individuals' lives and in the broader community. I thrive in diverse educational settings, pre-K to post-secondary, and I am particularly motivated by the multiplicative effects of supporting and guiding our next generation of teachers, leaders and change agents. I currently work as an Administrative Coordinator at my alma mater, Reed College, where I work with faculty and students in the Biology and Environmental Studies programs to support academic coursework and to promote student engagement and success.
