Community yoga with Kristy McKay

Sault College’s Waterfront Adventure Centre boathouse, 18 McPhail Avenue, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

Wednesdays and Sundays, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Yoga your body loves (and trusts). Slow, mindful practice calms the nervous system, improves breathing and increases the mind-body connection. Be ready to laugh, offer a smile to yourself and to your neighbour and cultivate the mood-boosting effects of belonging to a community.

Each safe, sustainable class includes healthy movement, breathing techniques, meditation, and human connection. This is yoga for all. An indulgent break for the rest and care you’re craving.

Nestled next to Bellevue Park on the St. Mary’s River, this convenient location connects to the HUB trail and has ample parking. Practice within steps of the water, immersed in the fresh air off our big lake. With lots of room to stretch out, the boathouse offers an alternative vibe for a unique yoga experience.

Fancy a bit more adventure? Take in some of the fun activities WAC has to offer, then cool down with a yoga class! Cafe Ziibi offers refreshing drinks, snacks and a stunning waterfront patio. It's the perfect place for a post-savasana sit and chat.
