During my college days - my career path right ahead - I often wondered what I’d like to do. My years of experience in animal rescue had made me realize one thing: I love helping living beings. I wished I could make that into a profession.

I got the chance to spearhead Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Our communication strategies were literally helping save lives as lack of cleanliness is responsible for uncountable deaths.

My love for animals and concerns about climate change morphed into my podcast "It's Kritikal!". And I’ve been featured in a short story anthology around COVID-19. I write for Sentient Media where one of my articles became their most-read piece end of 2020.

But my real chance to help people came when I was inducted into the COVID War Room set up by the Government of India. I was pushed to manage COVID digital communications and coordinate and disseminate IEC – Information, Education, and Communication material across states and Union Territories addressing COVID-19 prevention, masking, vaccination, combating misinformation, etc. I acted as a liaison between experts at the ministry and state nodal officers.

Every COVID wave had left me sleepless as we figured out communication strategies. But it was also the most rewarding because I was no longer wondering if I could help. I was doing it already. I was, living my dream.

I was awarded the IMPACT Top 30 Under 30 Award in the year 2022.

Currently, I work with Wavemaker Global (Group M) where I lead content strategy & client management for brands like Perfetti Van Melle, Tata Consumer Product Limited, Paytm & Gemini Cooking Oil covering branded content, OTT and TV integrations, Influencer collaborations and partnerships.
