Krown Media
The idea for the Krown project came about as a result of our collective passion for graphics, video and photography. Initially we just wanted a platform to display our work. We soon realised however that we didn’t want to make just another portfolio website. While we like to make pretty bits of art, we decided to also create a place where we could share and discuss our thoughts on media, life and God. As a result, the Krown blog was born. For a slightly more detailed overview of what Krown Media is about we have also broken our ethos down into three categories; Create, Present, Discuss: We believe that we humans are made in the likeness of God and so, like God, the Creator, we love to create. For us, producing media is not just a random hobby but something we feel is part of who we are. As well as creating for our own pleasure, we really like using our skills to help and work for people, charities, churches and business. If you want us to work for you then definitely get in touch. Art is never meant to be kept hidden. It’s meant to be shared, to be enjoyed. This is where it finds its place; its purpose. The Krown Media website is our gallery. Our forum. It is a showcase for art and ideas. Over the years, we have come across some very impressive artists, to the point where we’ve thought, “Someone’s gotta see this…and soon!” If you’re a photographer, graphic designer, fine artist, poet, writer or musical genius and you want to share your passions and your talents with the world, let the Krown help you. Art is a laden with emotion, symbolism and meaning. Unfortunately, we live in a culture that prefers the superficiality of a facebook update or tweet, but we at Krown Media want to engage in contemporary topics. Why are all Christopher Nolan films amazing? How sexualised will our culture become? Why do many award winners begin their speech with, ‘I wanna thank God…’? From matters of faith and politics to issues of art, design and fashion, Krown Media will endeavour to allow anyone to bring their views to the table. So that’s who we are. We love art, we love people and we love Jesus. We hope you enjoy what we do.
