After high school (Scituate High (MA) and then Sherburne-Earlville (NY)) I went to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Later I earned a Masters in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M [insert obligitory 'WHOOP!' here.]

Then, it was off to work in the consulting world - living in Nashville, Atlanta, Seoul (Korea), Hong Kong, Chicago, and now Grapevine, Texas (near Dallas).

I am married. Amanda is my greatest gift from God. We have the most precious children. Micah is twelve, and brilliant, caring and discipined. Our second (a daughter) is Ruth (Ruthie). She's nine. She is 'sweet & salty' depending on when you catch her, loving and smart as a whip.

We are active in our church (www.121cc.com), helping it grow in number and more importantly in authenticity and depth, and we also volunteer with an amazing teenage ministry - Young Life-Europe (www.yleurope.org) (Actually, Amanda went on staff a couple of years ago!). I also serve in voluntary capacities a couple of other startup nonprofit efforts. Recently, I became a Partner at Social Venture Partners - Dallas.

For work, I was in the high-tech/software/consulting world most of my career with Accenture, Baan (Infor), and i2 Technologies - along with a short stint living in Asia (with Accenture and then leading the operations of a small exporter). I was the founding employee and for 14 years was on the leadership team building a nonprofit organization - Aidmatrix. This picture was from when I was a first responder logistician in the first days afer the earthquake in Haiti on assignment with CARE for my work at Aidmatrix.

Recently we spun off some of the next-generation solutions from Aidmatrix to start AdvanceNet Labs (www.advancenetlabs.org) . Our community of dedicated professionals, volunteers and other exceptional people accomplishing amazing things. We are educating and employing people from all walks of life at unprecedented scale, rescuing people from violent situations, and getting lifesaving unique blood and medial products to those in desperate need - all in revolutionary ways and effectiveness through technology.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I look forward to connecting with you!
